1858 Province of Canada 20 Cents. This was minted for circulation this 1 year only, a mintage of about 730,000 is recorded,in 1871, it was minted again with only a Specimen strike known.   We recently acquired a large collection of Canadian and some Maritime CERTIFIED coins.There are approximately 350 coins in this collection, the majority are High Grade with a few in G and F, there are several scarcities, varieties and just plain hard to find coins in here. The Boycott Medal - Available for Sale €1000

Available for Sale €1000 This very rare medal was issued in 1880, and presented in 1880-81, to the 25 participants on the Boycott trek. The only other one that remains in Ireland is in a Museum, it is not engraved, and no pictures of that one seems to be available online. When we purchased this recently, we needed to assure the seller, that we would not melt it for the Silver or otherwise dispose of it other than to a collector, as it held a strong family connection, where it has been since it was awarded. That is 140 or so years...

This photo is the actual item in our possession. Above, is a photo of a (U. S.?) School Certificate of Honor, of which I am unable to locate another one that might be for sale, on any other Dealer website or many other sources. The exception is The Met Museum in N.Y.C., they have a few, not this one, but others that are much like it, in different colors and design, are all for the same purpose.
