This Medal is not currently for sale; however, it will be offered publicly to Collectors in about 3 weeks. This very rare medal was issued in 1880, and presented in 1880-81, to the 25 participants on the Boycott trek. The only other one that remains in Ireland is in a Museum, it is not engraved, and no pictures of that one seems to be available online. This photo is the actual item in our possession. Above, is a photo of a (U. S.?) School Certificate of Honor, of which I am unable to locate another one that might be for sale, on any other Dealer website or many other sources. The exception is The Met Museum in N.Y.C., they have a few, not this one, but others that are much like it, in different colors and design, are all for the same purpose. Starting January 1, 2021, the following Canadian Bank Notes will lose their Legal Tender status, which means however, they will STILL hold their face value, and can be redeemed at any Bank in Canada or returned to the Bank of Canada in Ottawa for Face Value redemption, you just will not be able to use them for any daily transactions. $1.00, $2.00, $25.00, $500.00, $1,000.00 The $500 Note was a commemorative note that was released only once in 1935, the Bank of Canada says there were only 40 left in circulation at the end of 2019.
